Death Note (デスノート, Desu Nōto) es un manga creado por Tsugumi Ōba e ilustrado por Takeshi Obata, más tarde llevada al anime. La serie se centra en Light Yagami, un estudiante japonés sobresaliente, quien encuentra un cuaderno sobrenatural llamado Death Note, el cual es capaz de matar personas con sólo escribir sus nombres en él y haber visto su cara. El manga fue publicado por la revista semanal Shōnen Jump entre diciembre de 2002 y mayo de 2006. En total se publicaron 108 capítulos, formando un total de 12 volúmenes
